Press F11 for full-screen visualization

During the elaboration of  this work, it was not  the intention to made it complete, nor definitive. The main idea was to retrieve facts and memories which affected the life and the routine of the city of Campinas, located in the São Paulo State, Brazil. Along with many things that the city lost along these years, such as the Municipal Theater, the rail stations and the "small-city tranquility", it also lost the Ramal Férreo Campineiro and the tramways.

This site will try to bring to people's knowledge, that which was a mark of the city's development, although pretty unknown to most of them. Collaborations coming from visitors, such as facts, pictures or even small remembrances, as user of the trains or as a mere observer, will be welcome, because they can still enrich this page a lot. Materials and documents about the R.F.C. are very rare and scarce.

This site will be dynamic, at least while there is access to more information and materials. The main objective is to give the readers the opportunity to know a little more about the history of our city. Those that were passengers of the "big tram", or even of the trolleys of E.F.S., will have good reminiscenses and those that today simply walk along the old tramway line will have the chance to know now a bit about this history.
